Theologians from across the country will lead a discussion on poverty during the fifth annual University of St. Thomas Fr. William J. Young Social Justice Summer Institute on June 4 and 5. The conference will treat poverty as a moral and social crisis that threatens international well-being.
Keynoters include the Rev. Larry Snyder, president of Catholic Charities, USA, David O’Brien, emeritus professor of Catholic Studies at the College of the Holy Cross and the Rev. Thomas J. Massaro, professor of moral theology at Boston College. Co-sponsors include Catholic Charities and the Archdiocese of Galveston/Houston.
